One type of biases that Gladstone talks about that effects my discipline is Bad news Biases. Bad news Biases is that we are wired to care abut anything that even remotely threatens us- so emphasizing bad news is good business. This makes the world seem more dangours than it really is. I belive that this bias affacts my dissapline greatly is because telling people the bad parts of psychology is makig peopel afrid of us. I also bewlive that it also making people shy away form becoming psycholoigsis because of the missinfofrmation. It’s so imporatn to learn the turth about psychology and tell of it’s goods and some of its bads. It’s also imporant to tell people that it’s okay to see a psychologists, we are nice kind harted people. The porteal of our dissaplin with in the midea is harmful, because people can minpulated into beliveign the stereotypes and that will strike fear into to them. Another harmful porteal of my dissaplin is we are hartless people that don’t care, but that’s false because we do care and we do have a hart. It angers me how the meida is muniplaitng the people into beliving these steryopes. I belive the more we teach people about our feild the better the people will turst us. It’s imporat to debunk these sterotypes because if we dont than the sterotypes will just get worse. That’s why bad news biaese is harmful to my disscourse.
2. An example of one of theses topics that is portrayed in my major is the unethical studies that have been done over the years. My profession is depicted as people making assumptions that psychology majors, they ask are you analyzing me? or they ask can you help me I am having a problem. There are lots of stereotypes ages psychologists because people just think that we are non human and harmless, but we are humans we go though the same things that everyday people go through. Yes I do believe that professionals in my field are no given enough credit for what they really are capable of doing. It’s really sad, because there’s lots of good that psychologists due and its test overlook. Like when a psychologists helps law enforcement understand how a psychopath thinks, it gets overlooked. I also believe that the media should give more credit to psychologists and not to treat the field as a joke because it’s not. Yes they are also depicted as taking on unrealistic tasks when they are realistic, and it’s important to think before you speak because it could insult someone that works in the field. I also believe that the people in my field of study are misrepresented is harming the felid greatly, because it turns people away from being psychologists. It is also why we are very few in numbers because we are very little represented. it harms us because it shows the everyday people that they shouldn’t trust psychologists because of how little they are represented. My thoughts are that we should be more represented more, because it will help us recruit people. It will bring back the people’s trust in psychologists. I also believe that we have to teach the people the good that psychologists due every day, but we should talk about the bad things that has happened. But we will explain to the people that the good out ways the bad parts of psychology. A prefix example of that is we help people with PTSD, and other mental and physical problems. That’s what the problems are with the media and how it effects the people in general and it also effects people in the field as well.

The reporting that I turest the most is consverative reporters the most. The sources they use apon is reliable socures, they take their time in reaserching the topic, they look at peer reived scholarly journals, and then they wirte their articel. They uses quanative and qulativte reasserch. The type of data that convinces me the most is because I agree with some of the things that the autor is saying. For exsample when Galdstone sates that “reporters are birds on a wire”menaing that the reporters moove form spot to spot if its safe to do so. That stament convenced me becaue it so ture the media is so like birds of pry, becauser they are always wating for something to happen, and it’s usally something that they could gosupe about . I also find intresting is when the also satate that reporters ackt like dogs because they are alwasy in our busines. Another exsample that I like to satae was when Galdsonte was talking about September 11th and how Fox news ancour Bill O’Rille was pro war, becaue of what happend on that day. I also liked about how she explain how everone was spintheitc duringthoese attcks. Thats the reports that I like to most, and I love how the article explained a lot of what news you can’t use.
Gee means when he says that some one can speak with perfic gramer and yet be “worng nontherless” that you can be speaking perfictly but it may not sound correctly. For exsample, the saying may I have a match. That might be grammatically correct but what the athouthr has said is “worng nonethless”. That it is less often remarked that a perosn is could be able to use perfic language btut sitll be incorrect. Yes it doees conlifct what I leanred in schoolm prior to this. What I learned in school was very different than what I’am learning now. I leanred that you have to be gramticly correct, how to write for an audience, and how to wirte with perpouse. Now what i’ve leanred with this text has tollay made me think about hwat I learned prieor to this. It makes me wonder if my high school einglish teach now what they are tlaking about, becaus they tought me different mehtoids about how to write with perfict grammer. Now I feel like I have a better knowledge on grammer than when I was in high school.
The media that I ingest are more conservative new stations. I watch Fox and I read the New York Post. It makes me think that the world has its problems and how big are these problems. It also makes me wonder what can I do to help. The sources that I rely on the most are Fox News because they tell the news about how it is and what happens. Then the more Liberal newspapers who don’t give you true information, and how some news stations lie to us. I am drawn to those services because I am a conservative and I am interested in what happens in the world, and what’s happening in this country. The thing that stands out the most is how they are giving us the news and how they tell it how it is. I also liaison to conservative radio stations. I am currently watching the impeachment trial and the conservative viewpoint on this trial. But the problem with both conservative newspapers and Liberal papers is that they can use propaganda and too much is a bad thing. So I believe that everything in moderation is okay and it’s good to see the other views of people, and that’s what Fox’s does they have liberals to see their side of the argument. That you can’t believe everything that you hear, so you should find a newspaper or television or radio station that you trust.
Some genres that I know well are non fiction, fiction, and historical fiction. I learned them when I wnet to higschool, middleschool, and elmentry. I also learned about these genres was with everday reading. There common rhetorical features are that they teach us different types of genres. A pop cultre genre that I know best is nonfiction. A moive that I know best is Money Ball. The genre of Money Ball is that it’s nofiction because it was a ture story. The story was about how the Okland A’s got a team that almost won the world series. The genre chaertists shows us how a team can work together and make it to the world series. How a team who tires hard can accomplidsh many things.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
