“Dusscing and Journalizing” by James Paul Gee

Gee means when he says that some one can speak with perfic gramer and yet be “worng nontherless” that you can be speaking perfictly but it may not sound correctly. For exsample, the saying may I have a match. That might be grammatically correct but what the athouthr has said is “worng nonethless”. That it is less often remarked that a perosn is could be able to use perfic language btut sitll be incorrect. Yes it doees conlifct what I leanred in schoolm prior to this. What I learned in school was very different than what I’am learning now. I leanred that you have to be gramticly correct, how to write for an audience, and how to wirte with perpouse. Now what i’ve leanred with this text has tollay made me think about hwat I learned prieor to this. It makes me wonder if my high school einglish teach now what they are tlaking about, becaus they tought me different mehtoids about how to write with perfict grammer. Now I feel like I have a better knowledge on grammer than when I was in high school.
